Quantifying Visual Pollution from Urban Air Mobility

چکیده
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can bring many benefits, particularly in emergency response and disaster management. However, they also induce negative effects, such as noise visual pollution, risk, integrity concerns. In this work, we study developing a quantitative measure that calculate the pollution from one or multiple UAVs. First, Analytic Hierarchy Process was utilized an expert workshop to find rank factors relevant pollution. Then image-based questionnaire targeted at general public used relations between factors. The results show two main causing are number of UAVs distance UAV observer. They while for medical services is polluting any other UAV, it easier tolerate Based on results, functions were developed be when carrying out path planning When combining function with existing measures ground air possible paths will give little impact urban mobility.

Urban Air Pollution Modeling
All life form on this planet depends on clean air. Air quality not only affects human health but also components of environment such as water, soil, and forests, which are the vital resources for human development. Urbanization is a process of relative growth in a country’s urban population accompanied by an even faster increase in the economic, political, and cultural importance of cities rela...
متن کاملChapter 17 Urban air pollution
Current scientific evidence, derived largely from studies in North America and Western Europe (NAWE), indicates that urban air pollution, which is derived largely from combustion sources, causes a spectrum of health effects ranging from eye irritation to death. Recent assessments suggest that the impacts on public health may be considerable. This evidence has increasingly been used by national ...
متن کاملQuantifying the impact of air pollution on the urban population of Brazil.
This study aimed to quantify air pollution impact on morbidity and mortality in the Brazilian urban population using locally generated impact factors. Concentration-response coefficients were used to estimate the number of hospitalizations and deaths attributable to air pollution in seven Brazilian cities. Poisson regression coefficients (beta) were obtained from time-series studies conducted i...
متن کاملModelling Urban Traffic Air Pollution Dispersion
The prime aim of this research is to support decision making, e.g., air quality impact analysis, human health assessment, through spatially modelling traffic-induced air pollution dispersion in urban areas at street level. Based on the information needed in decision making, a framework for a street level air quality decision support system is established, which is composed of basically three pa...
